This week as part of the midterm exams we are hosting a number of jury style presentations including this one from our City Planning and Urban Design course for 3rd year students.
Jury style presentations have been used as a form of assessing students work in Architectural institutions for ever. The presentation style offers students the chance to improve and exercise their graphic and verbal communication which are key skills for Architects in today's world. This type of exam also allows all students to participate in discussing their colleagues work and learning from comments the jurors give to other students. It is a key part of the Architectural education and at IBU.ARC and we take great pride in our students work and presentations and enjoy this time of year when we can gather round and assess what we have done and learnt so far in the academic year!
